Disable automatic updates

    I’m planning to switch to manual — lately, I’m being notified of WordPress updates multiple times per site per day!!

    And now, one of these sites is NOT working — unable to login and I get an endless message that says “you have already updated the database”.

    I like keeping the site patched and current but if it is done without my knowledge I can’t do a backup nor restore the server.

    Are you planning on manually turning off the updates or use a plugin?
