    Hello,

I am enjoying testing the Directory theme with demo content, but I noticed the “Review Style” dropdown (Default or Clean) only works in the editor, not on the front end. Can you confirm?

Also, where is this markup/style created? Can I edit these or make my own? Is it built using Template Parts, or custom code?

    Thanks

Hi, I just checked and you are right, the Reviews Style only changes on the editor but not the front end. We’ll fix this ASAP.

To edit the markup of that block you’d need custom code. I assigned this to a developer to follow up and give you an example of how you could achieve that.

    Thanks for your patience.

I can’t replicate this on my test site, can you let me know if its stuck in clean or default style on the front end?

For editing the tempaltes, they are here: https://github.com/AyeCode/geodirectory/tree/master/templates/bootstrap/reviews

Docs are here on hwo to do that from a theme https://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/article/346-customizing-templates
Or it can be done via code snippet if reuqired.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

It’s stuck on Default on the front end.

    Hi @bn86,

Sorry for the delay on this, i was checking the WRONG widget, i was checking the one on the homepage GD > Recent Reviews, not GD > Single Reviews. The issue is that only ONE instance of the reviews input will show, and if you have this set to show in the GD > Tabs widget then that will show and the block one placed after will NOT. You can remove the reviews from the tabs under Places > Place Settings > Tabs.

I have added a warning message to the block to help preent this in future.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
