Different behavior on Android or Iphone

Hello together,
when I play music on the Adroid, everything continues to run in the background as well. I can even listen to whatsapp messages and everything continues. With the Iphone, the system stops playing as soon as the IPhone goes into standby or or screen goes dark. Where can you set this? I have not discovered anywhere different settings.
