Sorry, but I’m to old to appreciate white text on dark. It is a major turnoff for me and many others. I just can’t get past it to make any worthwhile comments beyond that.
I like it. A funny idea for the footer style and it would be perfect. Good work.
Note: You have a little mistake in your sidebar code. Your lists have no opening and closing “ul”.

Not bad for a self-made theme, I think. But the font is not dirty enough for the rest. Try Century or Courier.
