[resolved] Detecting Possible jQuery Clash (2 posts)

    Hi,

I installed and set up Captain Slider a few days ago but it doesn't show up in my site when I changed my theme. The slider element works fine with Twenty Fourteen, so I know it's set up right.

I contacted the theme designer, and he said there may be a clash somewhere as the theme and the slider both use Flexslider? Is that possible?

You can see in developer view under the filterable portfolio in the top section, that there is a flexslider element there. But it just doesn't appear on the page.

I've never used flexslider or had much jQuery experience. Anyone got any ideas of how I go about detecting a clash?

    Thanks

Yep. If you are going to use a theme with Flexslider already in it, it's probably best not to use Captain Slider too or use a different theme.
