• I’ve searched and searched, but I haven’t found an answer: for once and for all, how do you delete the link categories so that you can simply have links in a sidebar without “blogroll” or anything else above them? I’d like this to be a default setting for WordPress, not theme specific, so that if I change the theme this setting won’t change.

I’ve been banging my head against this wall for days now, and I’m about to crack my head open! Please help!

  • be calm please.
could you just show us your site or an image of your problem in order to get it understood?

Thanks, I’ll try to be calm. My problem is that I’m completely new to the world of php and website design in general, so it can be frustrating at times.

Here’s the site I’m trying to set up: http://www.tonikuo.com.

I should add that I don’t want it to be a blog, but just a regular, static website. I’d love to get rid of the right column/sidebar, as well.

Oh, I should add that I changed “blogroll” to “goto:”. I’m much rather have nothing, though, just the links.

I think I’ve finally figured out a viable solution to this problem: With Firefox’s “developer” add-on I found out the CSS style information for “blogroll” for the theme, and set the font-size to 0px.

It’s still there, but it’s effectively gone.
