Delete admin account but not posts!?! | WordPress.org

How can I delete the admin account without deleting the posts attached to it. I am trying to do this because I don’t like the posts being labeled as written by “admin”. I have already created another account with administrative rights.

Wouldn’t be easier to go to your admin > Users > Your profile and give yourself a “nickname” you like and select it to be displayed as ‘author’????

Why nobody is learning about the tool they are using?

You could just login as Admin, visit Users (Your Profile) set a nickname for public display.

Bueno! I dig it now. Thanks HandySolo I just changed my nickname.

In the same breath I want to know if deleting an admin account or any user account for that matter will infact remove the posts connected to that account?
