Deinstall mqtranslate

Hi there,

since a second language is not longer necessary for one of my sites, I’d like to remove mqtranslate. Alas, when I deactivate the plugin, my site breaks. All I see is the logo and header text. The rest of the site vanishes, so to say. When I activate the plugin again, everything is fine.

My question is now: How do I remove mqtranslate safely. I don’t like to have files up there that I don’t need.

Help would be much appreciated. 🙂
