Weird enough, I experience this problem too for a client of mine. I work locally and everything is fine. After I have uploaded to godaddy, in the admin is all screwd up (CSS path problem I guess). I also assume, my problem is because godaddy forced a banner up into my website. I really hate this hoster. Bluehost is so easy to work with.
I am right now using the Free hosting that comes with my domain. Once, and hopefully if, my site becomes overloaded, I will start to pay for hosting. But is it really worth paying for hosting now when I don’t need it?
So does anybody still have a clue to the cause/solution? It could be the fact that I am hosting with GoDaddy, but I don’t want to pay for hosting until I need it.
Fine…. If nobody has a solution, can somebody just give me advice as to what I should do? I don’t care if there is a solution anymore; now I am just looking for an alternative.
You need to upgrade from free hosting to linux basic (or better).
When you have free plan, godaddy inserts a banner into your header, messing up everything else.
After upgrade, it did the trick for me.
Good luck!
It seemed to work fine beforehand; the header never messed it up when I was using the Windows Server.
This will be one of my last bumps, and then I am giving up on this topic…
if you use godaddy free hosting, I told you that you need to upgrade.
Or if you said that it workd before with an older version of wordpress downgrade 🙁
