What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?
Need more info to help diagnose that issue. What is the ‘new theme’ and how is it testing whether a mobile device is being used?

hickory, it was purchased two or three weeks ago at my office
You need to ask the theme author. Only themes available on wordpress.org are supported in these forums π

http://gesdi.com/responsivator/?site=inthemoodforfood.es
here you can see it works well in term of responsive
but it displays de default blue and white theme within mobiles, i’ve tested it with htc, sony and iphone
I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developer/vendor. We do not support commercial products here.
Are you using a self-hosted WordPress.org install or WordPress.com?
I know on WordPress.com there is an option in the dashboard under Appearance –> Mobile to always use a mobile theme by default. This sounds like that type of issue.
If you are using WordPress.org, maybe your theme has an option like that in it somewhere?
Hope that helps.

That sounds like JetPack mobile – have you tried deactivating JetPack?

thanks WPyogi
it was jetpack, I turned it off and it displays the new them mobile too
but I’d like to used some of the jet pack services so if I’m not wrong I do have turn off the mobile option for the default theme in wordpress.com as ImageOmega said
isn’t it so?
WordPress.COM is not relevant to a self-hosted site. You should be able to turn of the mobile module only in JP.
If you’re using Jetpack, you’re on a WordPress.ORG self hosted site. Like WPYogi said you can just turn off the “Mobile Theme” option in Jetpack.
From the WP Dashboard, goto “Jetpack” and the 6th row down you’ll see a box for “Mobile Theme”. Deactivate it.
Also, what theme are you using?
