Default folder

    My default folder uploads are going into a folder /2015/02/
    I have used ftp and set up a folder structure but use it new to WordPress lot to learn.

    Hi Magpie656,

    WordPress automatically uploads media in folders with a structure of year/month, which is what you’re seeing here — the year is 2015, and the month is February (02). This behavior is normal and expected. You can learn more about WordPress’ upload directory here.
