Dealing with Trolls

I guess I attracted a troll someway or another, but anyway, is there an efficient way of dealing with them? This guy is rather smart and impressive, despite what he’s doing. Using a proxy to make multiple posts, which kind of gets annoying to deal with in terms of adding ip’s over and over again on the comment moderation list.
