@renex06 – Does you WordPress database user have *ALL* privileges for your WordPress database? You may need to double-check with your web hosting service to see if this is the case.
Thanks!

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2048 bytes) in /home/p27j55j9/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 130
during update…it took my page down. After deleting the plugin and reinstalling the zip file from your site the same error occurred. It took some time to get the site back up to make this clean install. I have admin privileges FTP access to the database. Do I need to delete the NextGEN folder when in the Plugins folder to allow for a manual safe install? I had no errors until I uploaded the Zip file with no problems and activated in the site. Now I’m dead again. What do I need to manually change to allow this plugin to load? I have a large number of photos and I also have the NextGEN Pro installed that is a separate plugin. It worked fine until the latest update of the NextGen.
Site is down…not visible…but it’s camptimlo.org
I have again renamed the NextGEN folder to protect the page and allow content to be seen, without the NextGEN slide offerings and added an error message at the top of the page. Please help me get the site back up as soon as possible.
@drdankoenig – The issue you are describing appears to be related to the PHP Memory Limit in your server’s environment which is not directly related to the OP issue. Please start your own topic so we can try to help you with your specific issue on your specific site.

@photocrati Yep, checked that, the user got all the privileges.
Tried a older version, still the same error. It’s trying to add the column all the time. Also when I try to add a gallery to the content editor, it won’t let me select any of the options…
Updated to the most recent version, looks like the problem is solved. Did you make any changes to the latest version relating to this problem?
@renex06 – We generally list all “major” changes to the plugin code base within our Changelog file, what version were you using prior to updating?

PHP memory increased by host tech…problem resolved. Update installed and working…thanks.
@drdankoenig – Thanks for your update.
