Database error

    Hello,

    I was having issues logging onto the admin section for my site earlier today. I would just get a blank white screen and no logon box. Now I am just getting a database error saying there is an error establishing a database connection. If anyone could help that would be appreciated!

    Hmmm…That means wordpress core can’t connect to the database, which can be caused by a few different reasons. Did you happen to edit any of your core files, or maybe your wp-config file?

    I don’t think I edited a core file. It was suggested I backup my database and reinstall WordPress.

    Another option could be that you got hacked. 🙁 Try contacting your web hosting company and asking them if they are having connectivity issues, or if they can review your site to look for a malicious attacker.
