    Hi,

    Have just installed (for the first time) a WordPress site. The dashbaord is as when installed however, the WordPress Blog and Other WordPress News RSS feeds do not work with the following RSS errors:

    RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Could not resolve host: wordpress.org; Host not found
    RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Could not resolve host: planet.wordpress.org; Host not found

    I am accessing this through my local client pc browser which has access to external sites so cannot understand why they are not loading.
    There a re numerous posts regarding this but with no answers – Anyone got any recent idea’s?

    Sounds like you may have an issue with your local server or firewall.

    As said this was from my PC. My everyday RSS feeds are working in my browser but not on the wordpress dashboard.

    So not sure how it can be local server or firewall.

    No worries, have turned them on the dashboard but cannot figure how to turn them back to do some testing?

    When using the IPV6 network, this problem occurs.
