Dashboard not working

    Hi,

    I’m not real good with the tech stuff so hoping someone can help me. After trying to log into my dashboard after a very long time, I wasn’t able to log-in anymore. I read up on these forums and most said remove all active pluggins – which I did and lost all of my images, etc on my site.

    After this I was able to access the dashboard again but I can’t do anything in it.
    It’s completely different and won’t let me do anything. It’s just showing activity (none) and latest news. I’ve lost all the links to my pages, etc.

    Can any one help me please? I’m completely lost and don’t know where to start.

    Have you also disabled the theme? Enter the themes folder and rename the folder of the specific theme you are using. This should cause a default theme to take over. If not, you can change it in the wp_options table. Set the stylesheet and template settings to the new theme (‘twentysixteen’ for example).

    If you have checked both the plugins and theme, you may want to replace the core files. Don’t worry, replacing the core files correctly will not harm your existing pages or posts.
