Dashboard lost in upgrade

    Since upgrading to 3.1, I’ve lost the dashboard icons in the visual editing box. They are there for the HTML, but none for “visual.” I also can’t upload photos — none of the upload icons work. How do I get this fixed or get my old dashboard back? Help!

    In the Dashboard go to the Updates option and rerun your upgrade. If that doesn’t work, try deactivating plugins and manually re-uploading the core WordPress files(As if doing the upgrade to 3.1 for the first time.)

    Thank you. Deactivating and reinstalling worked. I had reinstalled, but hadn’t deactivted the plug-ins. Learning every day. Appreciate the help.
