• I’ll be working on a post, adding images to a table and when I update the page, everything disappears in the post. Everything but the title of the post is wiped out. Sometimes I can restore using previous saves and sometimes I can’t. I’ve been struggling with it all afternoon on one page. Help! I can’t get the post done that I’m working because it keeps disappearing. I thought maybe it was an image issue but it does it at different places every time.

  • Hi,

Have a check with these options:

-> Disable all the plugins and enable it one by one to find out the culprit.
-> Upgrade your wordpress to the latest version
-> change your theme to default one to rules out theme level problems.
-> repair database and user permissions.

    Thanks,

    Shane G.

    I’m having this problem, too.

Tried what you suggest, again and again. Still doesn’t work.

    Also, see my post:
Content disappears when I hit Preview or Publish!

    Or should I say:

I tried some of those things: still doesn’t work.
    – Don’t have plugins, other than the one that came with WordPress, which I disabled
    – It is the latest version
    – Theme is what the blog master, or whatever you call him set; looks real vanilla to me
    – Don’t understand the part about repairing user permissions.
