I cannot access your site to see it – access denied.
(btw, I am the author of the theme 🙂
yes a stupid question perhaps but i’m in admin but dont really know how 2 ‘publish’ this to my rl website? i’m really new at this (but probably not the only one ;))
So where is your blog? Is it at the address thatbis linked to your name here? or..?
If you upload a new image make sure it is uploaded as a binary file, not ascii.
Many users changed the header image without a problem.
ah binary might be the thing, am gonna try.
my blog is at http://www.pimiento.nl/wordpress as soon as i change this to http://www.pimiento.nl i get a http 403 error
nope it’s binary so that’s not it..
Try uploading again:
http://www.pimiento.nl/wordpress/wp-content/themes/maple/images/bigleaf_a3.jpg
it contains errors.
After that we can see how to move it up.
try uploading the theme again? or?
Your image 🙂
nothing wrong with the theme – it’s your image. Did you click on the link I gave you above?
you meen upload te image again via ftp? i don’tknow what i’m doing wrong here i’ve uploaded?
it’s a photoshop image turned .jpg i don’t know what could be wrong.. i saved the psd as a jpg under the maple leafe image file name
Your image is in the right place. But it is a corrupted file. Don’t ask me about photoshop – I never buy software.
All you have to do make a good, healthy image file. There is nothing wrong with the theme.
Learn the software you are using.
it’s strange i know photoshop.. i can open the image in windows viewer without a problem. nothing to do with software. weird.
Then it was corrupted during the upload. The link I posted above says clearly:
The image “http://www.pimiento.nl/wordpress/wp-content/themes/maple/images/bigleaf_a3.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
There is definitely something wrong with the image, if not when viewed on your local machine, then definitely by the time it reaches your web host.
Attempting to view the background image on your site using FireFox resulted in:
The image “http://www.pimiento.nl/wordpress/wp-content/themes/maple/images/bigleaf_a3.jpg cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
What FTP program are you using? It may be stumbling over some esoteric combination of bits in the image when uploading, and truncating or corrupting image (though that’s just a guess). Perhaps try uploading the image with a different FTP application (eg, do a google search for FileZilla if this is not the application you are already using).
Much warmth,
