    Hi!

My Hemingway template reset every 2-3 months. I’ve made a lot of changes, especially with the language. I’m speakgin french so I changed every “older posts” to “precendents article” (in french) or “continue reading” to “lire la suite”. I also changed some others details like the size of titles and post contents.

Unfortunately I have to modify it and restart the whole process everytime the template is reset. Is there any way to keep my template like I want FOREVER?

    Hey djule79!

By reset, do you mean you are upgrading your theme? If so, the best way to preserve changes you make is by creating a child theme.

No, I’m not upgrading the theme at all, but it seems to upgrade by itself without letting me any choice.

I’ve already heard that I should create a child theme. Do you know where I could find a very good and easy tutorial for that?

Here you go, essentially you need two files to make it happen..
