Customizing Custom Post Types Admin Screen?

    What’s the best way to completely customize the Edit post/page admin screen for a specific custom post type?

    I have customized it already on creation of the custom post type – adding additional fields, but I want to change the page title, remove things like permalinks, view post, disable quick editing etc
