    First if I am asking this in the wrong forum, my apologies.

    When I click on any theme I have downloaded or even the 2010 theme, there is a link for Customize, if I click on it I get locked into a never ending loop of refresh. I have two websites with different plugins both with the same problem. I cannot update or modify any theme now.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated; this is the first time that I have not been able to resolve an issue or find anyone else’s reference to this problem, making me wonder if I did something wrong? There was no problem in the previous versions of WordPress that I noticed.

    I turned off all plugins and it made no difference. I actually have to close the browser, both in IE and Firefox to get out of the refresh that happens every 3 or 4 seconds.

    I was tempted to go back to an older version but am not sure if it will have a bad consequence.

    Have you tried:

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    I gave that a try on both my websites 2 different domains, turned off all plugins and the page starts looping as soon as I hit the customize link.

    I have found a way around it, by simply not using that button for making any changes. I also ran out of time to experiment with it, when I get time I will upload a brand now WP install independent of the others and see if it does the same thing.

    I hope I am the only one with that problem, but was curious if others simply never tried their customize button to know if they too have a problem with it.
