Customize Posts’

Hello. This is my first post here. I would like to be able to create a custom post for my website. The website is thanksgivinglayout.com. To get an I idea of what I would like to look at this page. http://www.bestofjoomla.com/component/option,com_bestoftemplate/Itemid,46/

I would like to be able to post in a format similar to the content in the main content area of the bestofjoomla website. I will be offering free myspace layouts and I would like to be able to post with an image aligned left and a text area with code on the right. How could I do this? Thanks for any help.
