I would like to style the registration and login forms differently. Similar to the way you have done in your demo images.

Is the best option for this to edit the template files?

One issue I am having is that I am unable to switch the sidebar from the left to the right. The settings do not seem to have any effect on the layout.

Do I need the Premium version for this to be active?

    Thank you

    Hey,

We are using default layout on our demo page.
No, you don’t need pro version to switch sides.
    Kindly provide your website link.

    Ok, here is the URL:

Click on the Login test link in the Left Sidebar.

It is exactly like our demo.
    Sidebar is at the right.
I am not sure what exactly are you asking for.

It is NOT exactly like your demo. The link on your WordPress.org plugin page has a different demo.

Anyway, I figured out I will need to edit the templates to get it to act as I want.
The reason the sidebar is on the right is that I changed the template file.

The settings do not work for moving the sidebar from one side to the other.

No need to respond. I will figure this out on my own.

So, after your less than helpful comments, I have determined the following:

Your approach to custom templates does not work at all. I have copied the entire ‘templates’ directory from you plugin directory to the child_theme so that they are in ‘my_child_theme/templates’.

NONE of my changes are reflected in the website or the code.

Setting sidebar right from the settings does nothing.

Your documentation is hard to locate. Your Live Chat is nowhere to be found.

I would not recommend this plugin to anyone looking to work with a custom approach to login popups. If you want to use this in its native state with no configurations, it does work, but not completely.

    Least helpful comments?
You asked us not to comment “No need to respond. I will figure this out on my own.”
If settings are working for other 3000+users & not working for you.
Might be the case of something wrong on your site or compatibility issue?
You didn’t even let us help & directly reach to conclusions.
Documentation is included itself on the plugin page + I provided you the link above.
I responded to your query within an hour, but you don’t seem to appreciate the efforts at all

    You have not resolved anything.

First, why does the sidebar location setting not work?
You have ignored this question multiple times.

Second, in your replies and documentation, you have failed to mention that, if only minor changes are made to the templates copied to the theme, your code will still use the ‘default’ templates from the global folder in the plugin directory.

If I want to modify the templates in the ‘global’ directory, I must manually point every occurrence of ‘xoo_get_template()’ with a valid ‘require()’ or ‘include()’ statement pointing to my themes ‘template’ or ‘template/global’ directory.

So far, all you have done is say everything is working for everyone else. You have not tried to understand the issues.

This is why I said do not respond before. Because you just wanted me to believe it works for everyone else.

You said “You’re not able to set sidebar to right”.
I asked for your website link & saw the sidebar on the right side.
What would I expect? The setting worked? Right?

You said “You will figure out on your own” & then come back and say “You have not resolved anything.”

You don’t seem to have patience & that is not how wordpress works.
    Goodluck with your life.
I am going to mark this as resolved.
