• Heya, all! πŸ™‚
I’m the mantainer and one of the contributors of a group blog which is currently hosted at http://j_world.blogger.com.br
As you can see, I tried my best to make each post customized according to the person who posts it. I say “tried my best” because blogger’s tools are extremely limited and I had to think of several ways to work around those limitations. The little gif with the face of the poster is called by inserting the img code on the nickname field, and the colors change by a little CSS that must be called each time the person writes a post.
I want to take a step further. I want to make my blog more automatized and customizeable. I’ve been playing with the WordPress tools at blogthing.com, and at least in my first, quick look it doesn’t allow such a thing. It’s not a surprise, since I knew it would be up to my end to create such a thing. Unless, of course, a plug-in with this function has already been created. I’m just wondering…
If not, could somebody at least point me to examples of people who have sucessfully achieved this? I’m curious, because I seriously don’t know where to start. I’ve been meaning to learn php, and this may be my chance.
    Thanks!
