• Knowing how user-friendly WordPress is I decided to build my own site from scratch using Canvas theme thinking it would be a breeze. Well I was wrong and I’m stuck!

    This is the site: http://koziqi.com/

I have 2 modifications I’d really like to do.
    1. move the top navigation into the boxed layout (div=”wrapper”) so that it sits just above the primary navigation.
    2. be able to have a text widget box on a blog page that’s specific only to that page, i.e. the content doesn’t show up on other blog pages. Ideally I’d like to be able to input the Category description (under Edit Category) in the back end and have it show up in this widget box. Make sense?

I thought I could attach images to show what I mean but it seems not 🙁

  • I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s vendors.

Ah ok, didn’t realise. I had done a search and seen other posts about Canvas theme on this forum.
WooThemes was hacked and has been down the last 48+ hours. I guess I’ll have to wait til they’re back online.

Hi McKoziqi- I noticed you have a nice output for a canvas theme. YOu must be a good code to do this. I’m struggling to beautify my design but to no avail. This isn’t seem to be ideal for beginners!
