• We can easily disable sidebar for mobile devices using media queries.
But I want to do it in a different way. I want to use custom HTML tags for sidebars on mobile devices.
For example : There could be option of App installation in mobile devices instead of some other widget on desktop version.
This will greatly help in appropriate user interface for mobile users. Also we can reduce page load time which is a matter of concern especially for mobile users.
Is there a way to do that ?

Could you discuss this with your theme’s developers?

I am developing app for website of my friend. And he got that theme from Themify more than a year back.
Will he still have access to support from Themify ?
Should I ask him or you have the solution?

You need to talk to the people who built your site so that you can discuss how exactly to do this best. Commercial themes are a black box to us.
