• I built a custom theme, based on past themes I’ve constructed and I’ve never had this problem before. But when I select a page as a Static Front Page, the background textures drop out from all elements (body, header, footer, sidebar). Other linked images appear fine… just the Background textures disappear.

Any interior page created is just fine, no matter what page template I use (blog sidebar, no sidebar, or homepage sidebar). But the moment I select ANY of those interior pages as the static homepage, the backgrounds disappear. Similarly, if I select it to load the latest posts… same result. When choosing the static homepage and also selecting a Posts page, the posts page shows up fine.

I’ve gone through my CSS stylesheet and experimented with changing all link URLs to absolute but that doesn’t make a difference.

I know it’s something simple, but I’m just not seeing it. I’d give my URL but the site is currently in maintenance mode and not viewable to the public.

    Any thoughts?
