i changed the ads slug in the settings panel from “ads” to “grants”, but when i go to the http://www.blahblahblah.com/grants, it shows an error. also, when i try to view an actual ad at http://www.blahblahblah.com/grants/my-cool-grant, i get a 404 error (even if i try from the permalink in the backend ad editing page).

i have already tried to update the permalinks after i changed the slug, but that did not help. since the site is live atm, i had to revert it all back to the default “ads” slug.

is there a specific procedure to change the slug? or has anyone else come across this issue and solved it?

any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi,
If grants slug is already in use then one may face this problem. You should use shortcode method as a solution.
    1. Create a page titled as Grants.
    2. Paste shortcode [aol] in the page editor.
This page will show all the ads with url yourwebsite.com/grants.

    Best Regards
