Custom Menu .class not appearing

Hi. I’m using the Toolbox theme with WP3.4. I’m trying to add images to the main menu nav. I am doing this through the admin pages. I’m doing as the tutorials show, but I do not see the class added to the
<li> tags, or <a> tags. Is there a special way to set it up? Thanks
