custom login

I was wondering if someone could help me, i have been using wordpress for over 4 yrs, and during the process of upgrading everytime i have to go back and re edit and customize the login back to the way i i want…

the login.php file really hasnt changed much because of my edits, i just link a stylesheet

and some custom code for the submit buttons, then i
have some custom code added to color-fresh.css

doing this everytime can be a horrendous task, because the css is minified onto 1 lines and trying to find anything can be difficult at times when i just want to scroll through the code…

one part of my css i have added to color-fressh is to control the buttons, i acually tried creating a seperating stylesheet and linking to that to see if it would work but that didnt work..

their has to be an easier way, i looked through all the login plugins that would let me do this but most of them are outdated by almost 2 yrs such as bm login

then i keep having to go back in and changing the wordpress logo back to my logo and change the background color to the color i want as well as changing the loginbox color everytime i upgrade…

does anyone have a simple solution i tried one were i wouldnt use login.php and just use a folder called login but that proved to be to complicated trying to create a login screen forgotpassword screen and register screen
