Installed the plugin and configured. Works well for the most part, expect the “Free Quote” link. It is not firing from the mobile menu.
    Any assistance is appreciated.
    Thank you,

    Hi,

That menu link goes to the link below
    https://hettlerinsurance.com/#show-quote-popup-house-insurance

But you don’t have any element with that specific ID. This is usually used to move to a specific part of the page.

If you are trying to open a modal that’s a bit different and requires custom javascript.

    Let me know.

    Rui,
Thanks for the quick response. There’s some backend javascript that builds the link, based on whether the modal background is set to display:block. A tap or click should set the background, which allows the code to open the modal. Same code works on the desktop version.

I’ve run it through the developer tools but cannot isolate where the error is. Thinking there might be a conflict with the JQuery in the menu plugin.

    Hi,

I can’t see it working in the desktop pressing the Free quote in the desktop menu.

It just fades in and out. Does this work when you deactivate the WP Mobile Menu?
If so can you contact me at [support AT wpmobilemenu DOT com] so I can ask a couple things in private?

    Thanks

I sent you an email earlier this week, on Aug. 14th. Did you receive it? I can send it again, from rjdwebsites@gmail.com.
    Thanks for the help,

    Rui,
The more I look into this, the more I think it’s not the plugin. The Free Quote modal doesn’t open from any link/button. The contact form does, which is strange, because it’s basically the same JS. I’m now wondering if the theme is having issues with WordPress 4.8, since everything worked before the upgrade.

    Thanks again,
    Richard

Yes, it could be caused by something in the 4.8 Update.
Why don’t you try an alternative for those popups?

Try Popup Maker it’s a great plugin with great support, you can set the menu links to open modals among other features.
