Custom Header Slide Show

I want a custom header that displays 6 or 8 pictures in sucession continously.

I found a customer header topic in the codex that explains various alternatives: http://codex.wordpress.org/Custom_Headers

One alternative allows upload of multiple images but it is not clear how the multiple images are displayed.

How do I do a “slide show” custom header?
