I am trying to find a filter plugin that suits my needs and so far all the options that I have found require alot of tweaking.
Currently, I am trying out your plugin as well as wpdatatables.
As I like your plugin better, I’d prefer to donate to you rather than buying wpdatatables assuming that I can get your plugin to work as I need.
I have made 2 example pages as seen here:
    http://voicematch.audioresort.com/tabletest/
    http://voicematch.audioresort.com/testtable-wpdatatables/

Is there a way to change the content of the filters so that I can get them to work along the lines of what you see in the second link?
I don’t need number ranges and checkboxes badly but I DO need to be able to make custom filters like “gender” and “age”

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Unfortunately, I’m not aware of easier ways to add custom filters to TablePress at the moment. The Extension on the TablePress website are the only things that I can offer here. For more specialized filters, you’d have to look into using custom JavaScript code and the API functions of the DataTables JS library.
Sorry for not having better news here.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thanks for the fast reply.
I guess I’ll try to get one of the alternative solutions to work for me.
If anyone has a solution for customizing the tablepress filters, feel free to chime in 🙂

    Hi,

yes, that’s going to be the best. The existing Extensions can probably serve as examples or templates.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    Thanks for your service Tobias.
For future reference I think that your plugin would gain amazing popularity if someone was to compile a list of additions/tweaks (possibly s a paid premium version of the plugin ) 🙂

    Hi,

no doubt about that 🙂 It’s just a matter of finding enough time besides my regular day job and other hobbies…
