you can directly edit the stylesheet of your site in the editor but I would recommend use plugin like advanced CSS editor to do this process with ease.

As for the additional CSS option it was removed from the initial version but I will get it back in the next plugin update for users that don’t use WordPress customizer or their themes do not feature such option.
