Custom archives excerpt help

Hey there, just had a quick question about a custom archives page…

Is there any way to set up my archives so that posts are shown inside an unordered list (or definition list), sorted by date, showing titles of the post, and with an excerpt from the post underneath? Sort of like…

November 2006

• “Title of post”
• Excerpt of post
• “Next post”
• Next excerpt

…and so on.
