CSS rollover image problems!!!

I’m designing a blog section for my wife’s acting page, and I can’t get the CSS to agree with me for the menu. The rollover images work fine in their own webpage, but when I load them into my customized theme they won’t work as rollovers AND no matter what I do I cannot get it to line up on the page correctly. you’ll see if you visit the site.
I’m a CSS newbie, so I’m sure there are loads of errors in my code, but if anyone out there has suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and the reason I want to use images instead of words with the same rollover BG is to match the rest of the site. I’m so close…
