Cross-browser compatibility issues

I have run BrowserCam on my new layout to check for cross-browser/OS compatibility and have run up against a number of display issues which I’m not sure how best to fix.

The biggest problems are related to Macs (on version 7.5 of Opera, and on both the Mac OSX 10.3 versions of Mozilla, my right-hand sidebar displays too far to the left, obscuring the content). Ditto with screen resolutons of 800×600.

With Konqueror, my nav bar (which should be pink) comes up a bizarre sea-green colour.

On a more minor note, with the latest versions of IE, the content box spills out a tiny bit beyond the defined borders of the header and footer.

Sorry for the information overload, I wasn’t sure whether to break it up into separate posts or deal with it all in one go. I hope what I’m describing makes sense. If anyone who has these browsers can offer advice on fixing one or more of these issues I would be very grateful.
