Create wordpress API for adding content to databases? | WordPress.org

I really need this plugin’s content to be searchable.
Say a viewer types in the city they hope to see the Artist in such as San Diego or the Venue example Club hype…
It’ll be wonderful to get the results !
Is there any way I can ADD an API for the database?

Sorry, missed this post. If you’r familiar with SQL, then yes, you could do this. The GigPress database schematic is pretty straight-foward.

But GigPress has no built-in API for searching its data, no.
