    Hello!
I’m not sure if this is the right forum to use so please direct me elsewhere if it is not. I am part of a non-profit and we have switched to WordPress last May. I currently have a membership database in MS Access and I am looking for a way to link to it on our site so board members can look up members and membership status. I am also willing to create a new database if required.

The only plugin I can find is ‘Participants Database’ which does most of what I want, but is there a better solution?

    Thanks.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

There are a lot of membership plugins available. I’d recommend using one and figuring out how to convert/import your access database rather than trying to use ‘big hammer’ approach to getting access to work on your server and with WP.

Thanks Steve. I started thinking the same thing so I’ve decided to add one plugin and see if I can make it work for what I want. If not, I can get rid of it and try another. 🙂

    Thanks for the confirmation.

I use CiviCRM for a non-profit member DB, but that’s probably overkill for what you’re doing. (It’s overkill for what I’m doing, but it’s working and I’m too lazy to re-do it with something else.)
