Recently my hosting provider warned me about a dump file generated because of a bad script that is “core dumping” on my server. I’m in no way PHP expert but i was told to perform a dump check PHP script and certainly i found the dumped file with a big pile of code. What strikes me the most is that above everything i could see lines mentioning Live Composer plugin so i decided to update the plugin from 1.0.5 to the latest version 1.0.7.2, it is interesting that after performing a virus check in virustotal.com both versions warmend me about this CPRD9B9.Webshell not saying it is related to my issue maybe it was just a compatibility problem and now I’ve updated everything will be fine. Just to let you know and hopefully get a bit of insight into this. Thank you.

    Hi there,
BKAV shows false positive result. We have no idea what exactly triggered it. There are no Webshells in Live Composer. It’s 100% open source – if you like, you can review every line of code by yourself. A lot of people including wordpress.org admins already did that.

It makes no sense to me to waste time to make LC comply with BKAV checks. False results in their software, it’s not a problem of our plugin.

As for dumped file you found. To be honest I’m not sure what you are talking about, but it’s very interesting for me to review the file you have and see out how it’s linked with the plugin.

Can you please send it to our support email? support ( a ) livecomposer . io

    Thank you!

    Hi again,
We’ve got your message. Thank you very much!
Our developer is working on planned update and will review it once his current tasks sorted. Unfortunately, me or other support team members can’t do it on our own. I appreciate your patience.
