Every time I try to update the Cornerstone plugin I receive the following error message “Update Failed: Plugin update failed. » Plugin update failed.”

I have contacted WP engine for help and was referred to this site.

Please advise how this error can be fixed. There are numerous things we are unable to currently do in Cornerstone and need to make appropriate updates ASAP.

Hi, what version of Cornerstone do you have installed?

You can also download the latest version of Cornerstone and install it manually. See WordPress’ documentation on installing downloaded plugins for more details.

Hi, it sounds like you may have been directed to the wrong plugin, as the latest version of the Cornerstone plugin in WordPress’ official plugin directory is v0.7.5 (more details on Cornerstone’s main page).

You should be able to find a link to the plugin’s official home page below the plugin’s name on your site’s plugin admin page. You may also be able to find information on getting support via the site where you originally downloaded/purchased the plugin.
