Hi, I have a general question. If I have a non-responsive wordpress theme can I simply change out the theme to a responsive one for the site to be mobile friendly? Would I lose content? Would there be any issues that I need to anticipate? I was told that tables and shortcodes in the pages would not convert correctly. Everything I have read seems to indicate that switching to responsive is not that difficult.

    Thanks!

  • Yes, you can switch themes without losing any content. If you have shortcodes, true, they may not work on a new theme. But it’s true that it’s pretty easy to switch – you generally do need to set up some new features and options, but it shouldn’t be all that complicated.
