Converting to responsive theme

    Hi, I have a general question. If I have a non-responsive wordpress theme can I simply change out the theme to a responsive one for the site to be mobile friendly? Would I lose content? Would there be any issues that I need to anticipate? I was told that tables and shortcodes in the pages would not convert correctly. Everything I have read seems to indicate that switching to responsive is not that difficult.

    Yes, you can switch themes without losing any content. If you have shortcodes, true, they may not work on a new theme. But it’s true that it’s pretty easy to switch – you generally do need to set up some new features and options, but it shouldn’t be all that complicated.
