Conversion of HTML to WordPress?

    Hello everyone, i m beginner to wordpress i know basic knowledge functionality of themes etc, but a main question in my mind always comes that how to edit theme, like i want to add slider manually etc in wordpress how to do that? i know some themes comes with funtionality but some not, i just want to add slider etc like i put in html file manually, recently i have to work on conversion of HTML to WordPress and how to do that, this is my 2 Question plz answer brief thank you.

    hi!
    There is no way you could “convert” static HTML themes into WordPress theme.
    Because the WordPress theme consists mainly from PHP + WordPress syntax.
    Here we talking about making a new theme from the scratch using old design. It may be a bit easier then trying to modify existing theme.
    Also there a tons of WordPress themes and I’m quite sure you can simply find the theme with similar design
