    Hi everyone, considering migrating a site with about 4,000 pages to WordPress (knowledge base).

    Is there a way to add pages to a menu at the point you create a page?

    I can see at the moment you need to add a page then add it to the menu which will become very time consuming managing both with so many pages?

    Also with the new Gutenberg editor is it possible to disable a block to remove it from the live site but leave it in the page in case you want to restore it later?

    Or do you need to delete the block, publish the changes and then to revert the block you have to republish the old version?

    There is a setting in the menus for automatically adding new pages as a top level item.
    But I think your site would be better off using posts or custom post types rather than pages.

    In the editor, whatever is in the content is saved in the database and shown as the published page. You could go into the HTML mode and comment a block, I suppose.
