• The site is running all the latest versions of the plugins but I’ve noticed that all the Nextgen galleries inserted within the Black Studio Tinymce Widget blocks no longer work, it just shows the same preview code as in the editor (their version of shortcode I’m guessing):

    <img alt="" src="http://www.mydomain.com/nextgen-attach_to_post/preview/id--252" class="ngg_displayed_gallery mceItem alignright">

    The same gallery works just fine when inserted into a non-Page Builder page, displaying that code in the editor but then correctly showing it as a gallery on the front end.

    Has something been changed within the filtering of the widget? I’m not sure whether this is a widget issue or Page Builder issue.

    Hi there,
    NextGEN has its own replacement routines (sort of shortcodes, but different) which is run only for the_content of post.
    In the latest dev version we added support for NextGEN Gallery code replacement, but it needs a few more testing before releasing it.
    I would appreciate if you could help test this new feature, you can grab the latest dev version from our GitHub repo.

    Thanks for this!

    It’s strange because it was working previously when I built the site and handed it over it over my client but just recently stopped.

    Will download the dev version and give it a test out!

    Hi MonioDesign,
    please let me know your feedback if you had a chance to try the dev version.
    Thank you.

    The current dev version should work fine in Widgets admin screen, but it has issues when using Theme Customizer.
    I asked for assistance on the NextGEN support forum, so also keep an eye on that topic.

    I haven’t had chance to test it yet, the client was quite apprehensive about using a dev version of the plugin on their space so I didn’t push it.

    Will try out on a demo space when I get chance!
