Contact form not working after duplication

Hi all,

Right now I make my website first on localhost and then transfer it to the production version using the duplicator plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/ ). This works fine for most thing, but my contact forms I ahve in the contact form 7 plugin stop working tough, they simply give “failed to send e-mail” without any further information, sadly the PHP error logging also doesn’t have any new entries. Once I create a new contact form on the production version it works fine as expected, so I’m pretty confident the issue is with importing/exporting the entire website. Do you have any suggestions to fix this issue without having to recreate all my contact forms the moment I do a new update?
