• Is there a way to create a Contact Form on the home page that allows the user to select multiple options (General, Media, Sponsorship, etc.) from the “Inquiry Type” drop down – while still allowing us to make sure the inquiries go to the correct email address that is associated with each option? Inquiries sent to General go to one particular email account, Media another and so forth.

I got thrown into trying to fix something on a website and I am a novice WP user. I’ve been trying to search the forum, Google and YouTube for a solution, but with all the options out there, I am getting more and more lost.

I know this must be a very simple question, but with time pressing on me, it hasn’t been easy for me so far.

Is there a particular widget someone can recommend that would allow this?

Thank you very much in advance,

    Jason

  • Hi Jason:

I have seen a demo for Gravity Forms and it might be able to do what you need. I use contact form 7 which is free and very simple. You might want to check out these plugin on wordpress.org plug in page.

Hope that gives you some options.

Thank you for the advice. I will check it out and see if that will work.

If you can’t find something that works, and don’t want to mess with the form code you could send all inquiries to one address and forward from there to secondary addresses based on some content, for example the subject line or one of the fields in the drop down.
