Constantly being logged out

    About every 5 minutes the site logs me out. If I try to change a page I am greeted with “Cheatin’ uh? Sorry, you are not allowed to customize this site.”

    I can re-log back in but this is super annoying. Is this a bug with WP 4.9?

    How do I work around this?

    Hi, have you enabled the following feature Enable Force WP User Logout:? If you have what time frame have you added before login out an admin?

    The above is located under WP Security -> User Login -> Force Logout.

    If you haven’t enable this feature, what happens if you disable the plugin? Do you still have the same issue? If you do then you know, your issue is not related to this plugin. It might be some other plugin causing this.

    If the issue stops when you disable the plugin, then there might be a conflict between AIOWPS and one of your other plugins. In that case disable all other plugins except this one, then start enabling one by one your other plugins and at the same time checking to see if you get logged out. Do this until you find the conflicting plugin.

    I do use that feature but it is set to 240 minutes.

    I have noticed it seems to flare up if I am accessing a password protected page on my site. Seems like that triggers the logout. Is that possible?

    Hi, you mentioned a password protected page. Are you using a membership plugin? If you are, what happens if you disable the membership plugin? Do you still run into the same issue?

    No, no membership plugin. It is WordPress’ default option or built into the theme.

    Hi, would you be able to test one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Sixteen or Seventeen?
