Connections shortcode not working

    Hi
    Any help with this would be appreciated, I have the following shortcode

    [connections template=’profile’ show_alphaindex=’true’]

    the alphabetical list is showing with the few entries I have listed underneath but when I click on a specific letter of the alphabet – nothing happens, when I suss out the plugin properly it is my intention to have an alphabetical list of horse names with thousands of entries so I need my visitors to be able to locate those starting with ‘s’ (for example)
    have spent hours on all the relevant forums, blogs etc but unable to work out the problem
